The North Window Room sits at the end of the east wing with nothing between the glass and the horizon. On a clear night you can watch the Big Dipper swing around the pole without lifting your head from the pillow.
Every lamp in the room is red and dimmable, so your eyes stay adjusted for the trip outside. The binoculars on the sill are yours for the stay; the guide will show you what to point them at.
